Will Gruver
Group Founder and Chairman
William Gruver is the Founder and Chairman of USP&E Global, a company he established in 2002 to deliver power generation solutions across frontier and emerging markets. Over more than two decades, he has led the organisation from a small operation into a global presence spanning 45+ countries, with projects covering power plant engineering, EPC/EPCM delivery, operations and maintenance, and asset sales.
Will oversees all global operations and strategic direction at USP&E, with a particular focus on integrating sustainable and renewable energy. His leadership has shaped the company’s approach to large-scale energy infrastructure in underserved markets across Africa, the Middle East, and beyond.
Born in the United States, Will studied at Northwestern University and completed executive education at Harvard Business School. He is currently based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
